They’re not selling jewelry, they’re selling their name. You are just paying for their expensive TV, Newspaper, Magazine commercials, their lavishly decorated stores and displays, their rent, their electric bills, their huge overhead, their staffs’ salary, their taxes, their cleaner who cleans the stores and many more.
