Lifetime Warranty

We are committed to ensuring the quality of your purchase; we stand behind everything that we sell and warrant that all items will be free from any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. We will repair and maintain your jewellery for a lifetime.

  • If we determine your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise or, if we deem appropriate, replace the item.
  • If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then we will notify you and let you know if the repair service are available at cost or otherwise.
  • Our lifetime warranty offers free cleaning & inspection service, and prong tightening. 

 

Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services on Diamond Rings

We provide free refurbishment & jewellery inspection for all jewelleries purchased from IDO JEWELLERY to extend the life of your jewellery. This service includes polishing, tightening the prongs of the diamond, cleaning, and plating. This service is available to our customers one time in 5 years after the purchase of the jewellery.

 

Pave Warranty

We provide a 3-year warranty for all diamonds and gemstones below 0.05ct on jewellery purchased from IDO JEWELLERY. After 3 years, each diamond or gemstone will be charged according to its current market value.

 

If you happen to discover that a pave stone is missing, please do not hesitate to notify our consultant, and we assist you accordingly.

 

Conditions and Exclusions

The foregoing Manufacturer Warranty and Complimentary Services are available only to the person who purchased the covered product from IDO JEWELLERY. For jewellery where the diamond is not purchased from IDO JEWELLERY, the purchase is not covered under IDO JEWELLERY's lifetime warranty.

 

Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than IDO JEWELLERY will void your Manufacturer Warranty. Fine Jewellery is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear and tear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that’s results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.

Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect.

 

Some examples of common jewellery issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  1. Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing, application of sanitizer. 
  2. Prongs and previous metals, in general, wear over time and may restoration work as normal wear. 
  3. Bent, dents, caught or worn out prong(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
  4. Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
  5. Catching lint on the prongs of the ring.
